Teachers and Staff

The Blue Springs School District has a highly qualified, diverse staff of nearly 2000 employees. District staff is almost equally divided between certified and classified staff. Over 83 percent of our certified staff hold an advanced degree. Veteran staff members bring years of valuable experience to the classroom and beginning teachers bring fresh ideas and new practices to enrich the total learning environment for all students. Many of our staff hold leadership positions locally, regionally, and statewide and are sought out for advice on curriculum and instruction. New staff recruitment is an ongoing process in this rapidly growing, progressive community. The Blue Springs community, Board of Education and staff make a great team!
