This is my sixth year at Sunny Vale Middle School. I teach sixth grade band, seventh grade band, eighth grade band, and jazz ensemble. I also assist with teaching the Blue Springs High School Golden Regiment Marching Band and teach private lessons. Before Sunny Vale, I interned at Blue Springs High School with Dr. Tim Allshouse. Prior to that, I was a graduate assistant at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO, teaching music theory/aural skills, marching band, and tuba/euphonium, and working as a conductor in concert band, wind symphony, and the orchestra. I studied trombone with Jay Bulen, piano with Janice Saffir, and conducting with Tom Trimborn, Sam McClure, and Dan Peterson
